The Great General Wellness Experiment
Do general wellness products actually work - in real life?
Improve mental acuity?
Enhance learning capacity?
Live longer?
Reduce stress?
Improve sleep?
FDA might not review their claims, but we can still conduct research to find out!

To begin your participation, just buy any general wellness product by clicking through, and register with the form at this bottom of this page.
Then, use your product however you would.
Our overall "null hypothesis" is that all of these products are equally bogus ... so products serve as each others' control conditions: if all are equally bogus, then none will outshine any other, it won't matter what setting anyone uses, etc. See forum for scientific discussion of methods, placebos, placebos-with-awareness-, and more!

Oxygen concentrators
Oxygen concentrators were the initial inspiration for this experiment. In 3 years working at an oxygen concentrator manufacturer, I came to be skeptical that our current atmospheric oxygen concentration of 21% is necessarily optimal for general health. The earth's atmospheric oxygen concentration used to be higher, in evolutionary history - and if our systems evolved relying on a little more oxygen, maybe we could benefit by giving those systems back more of this resources they are lacking/
Paleobreathing?!
-
Extra oxygen is generally reported to improve mental acuity in laboratory experiments
-
People with naturally higher SpO2 (blood oxygen) are reported to live longer
-
Oxygen concentrators increase SpO2
But, no one has reported whether oxygen concentrators actually have these very general benefits on wellness when used in real life - improve mental acuity, or maybe cause people to live longer ...
So, we're finding out!
Buy any concentrator by clicking through, use it however you would based on its instructions, and over time you can report back on how you have used the product, how you feel, your mental acuity, your general wellness, or even just that you are still alive!
Red light sale
Some people are really into red light therapy. Does it work? Maybe? I have no idea. But if we collect our feedback, we can maybe find out how these actual products work for people in actual real life. Our data will be product reviews that focus on actual health effects, and describe how users actually used products. Useful?! Then buy by clicking through to participate!
Sleep aid devices
Tired of being tired? But do any of these work? Is one better than another? Are all equally good (or useless)? Let's put the debate to rest!
